Hit the road in the morning and be home in time for dinner! We’re looking for a dependable Delivery Driver to join our team in Asheville, NC. As a specialty distributor focused on water, wastewater, storm drainage, and fire protection products, we rely on skilled drivers to ensure our customers get what they need, when they need it.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for loading inventory onto your truck, making timely deliveries to customer job sites, and unloading materials safely. You’ll also pick up and transport supplies and equipment between our organization, suppliers, and customers—all while following DOT regulations and maintaining a strong focus on safety.

- 7AM- 3:30PM
- Home Daily
- $23-$26/HR
Responsibilities
- Delivers products to customers which may include assistance with unloading, ensuring delivery of ticket with material, etc. Serves as primary interface with the customer at point of delivery. Contacts customers if they are not present at delivery location.
- Loads truck with daily deliveries. Unloads product at customer’s site.
- Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies and procedures. Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after route. Fuels truck as needed.
- Resolves customer service issues.
- Complies with all DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations. Maintains records such as vehicle logs and bill of ladings in accordance with guidelines.
- Plans route to and from customers' businesses and adjusts for traffic and/or construction.
- Ensures that manifests are complete and accurate.
- May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking all incoming material.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Flatbed experience
- Forklift experience
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older
- Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable
- Have a current Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides.
- Clean driving record
- Must pass background and pre-employment drug test.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred.
- 1 Year of Flatbed experience
- Forklift experience.
- Class B. Must be able to drive A MANUAL TRANSMISSION.
- Able to load and unload trucks, do warehouse work and general housekeeping and yard work.
