Responsibilities and Duties
- Safely transport USPS mail between local destinations throughout the Sacramento area
- Complete multiple scheduled route deliveries each shift
- Secure freight and verify shipping paperwork before departure
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Assist with light touch freight when needed
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
- Operate equipment safely while providing dependable service
