We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Staff Accountant to join our team in Vernon, CA. This position will support a variety of day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, account reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, inventory analysis, and general accounting functions.

Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing and other accounting functions.
- Perform Accounts Payable (AP) activities, including printing checks, uploading positive-pay bank files, and distributing AP check registers as needed.
- Perform monthly product code updates and generate customer rebate reports.
- Review transaction reports and charges with management for approval.
- Prepare weekly sales reports.
- Enter and review monthly ERP transactions and assist with monthly closing procedures.
- Analyze, reconcile, and prepare inventory reports.
- Review transactions related to raw material volumes, customer invoicing, and customer payments, and resolve reporting discrepancies.
- Prepare worksheets, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Verify vehicle expense reporting within the internal vehicle reporting system.
- Generate financial and accounting reports using integrated systems.
- Prepare periodic filings related to business operations.
- Analyze account balances for variances and prepare account reconciliations.
- Maintain office inventory and supplies as needed.
- Follow established accounting, department, and company policies and procedures.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with management, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
- Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
