Job Description

Elite HR Logistics is hiring an experienced CDL Class A Driver with strong leadership skills to supervise environmental field crews and CDL drivers!

Looking for a leadership opportunity where you can put your CDL A experience to work? Earn $26.03–$33.80 per hour while leading environmental cleanup, hazardous waste, spill response, and industrial cleaning projects!

Schedule
  • Travel: Frequent travel; assignments typically last up to 5 consecutive days
  • Availability: 24/7 emergency response availability when assigned standby.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Lead and supervise CDL drivers and environmental field crews.
  • Safely operate CDL Class A vehicles and specialized environmental service equipment as assigned.
  • Oversee environmental cleanup, hazardous waste, spill response, and industrial cleaning projects.
  • Maintain safe job sites and ensure crews follow applicable safety procedures.
  • Coordinate staffing, equipment, materials, and project priorities.
  • Prepare waste materials for shipment and complete required manifests.
  • Maintain accurate timesheets, work summaries, and project documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, management, and regulatory agencies.
  • Support customer relationships and business development opportunities.
  • Respond to emergency service calls when assigned standby duty.

Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A REQUIRED!
  • Minimum 4 years of CDL A driving experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in environmental services or a related industry.
  • Experience operating roll-off trucks.
  • Experience with rocket launcher equipment.
  • Manual transmission driving experience REQUIRED!
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred – training available!
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to coordinate crews and manage multiple project priorities.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for 6–8 hours and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Willingness to travel for assignments lasting up to 5 consecutive days.
  • Available for emergency response calls 24/7 when assigned standby.
  • Ability to pass required pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screening, and background check.
