🚛 Route Transportation Manager
Weekly Pay | $85,000 – $90,000/year

We are hiring a Route Transportation Manager to lead daily transportation operations, oversee driver and technician teams, and ensure routing, compliance, and performance are executed at a high level. Essential Job Functions
  • Supervise and direct drivers and technicians
  • Oversee multi-state operations (Southern Oregon, California, Arizona, Texas)
  • Manage routing, dispatching, and scheduling for efficiency and coverage
  • Maintain full responsibility for DOT compliance and driver qualification files
  • Review pre and post-trip inspections and coordinate maintenance and repairs
  • Conduct driver ride-alongs and performance evaluations
  • Approve timecards and manage PTO requests to ensure route coverage
  • Support hiring, training, development, and disciplinary actions
  • Resolve customer issues and maintain service standards
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify new service opportunities
  • Ensure all procurement-related permits are current and compliant
  • Review ERP and Verizon Connect reports for route accuracy and efficiency
  • Communicate operational updates and issues to leadership
  • Conduct accident investigations alongside Safety team
  • Oversee workers’ compensation claims and OSHA reporting
  • Lead safety meetings and tailgate trainings
  • Assist with budgeting, yard operations, and supply management
  • Maintain professional communication with employees, customers, and vendors
  • Follow all company policies and procedures

  • Must be available for rotating after-hours emergency calls

Skills & Requirements
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience
  • High school diploma required
  • 2+ years of higher education or technical training preferred
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to handle emergency call-ins on a rotating schedule
  • CDL Class A preferred
  • Experience with Verizon Connect (Telogis) and Salesforce is a plus
