Job Description

Looking for a stable manufacturing position with consistent hours and weekly pay? Interview today and start next week with a growing HVAC manufacturing company. We are hiring a CNC Plasma Operator / Production Welder to support sheet metal fabrication and production operations. This role involves welding HVAC ductwork, preparing materials for production, and learning to operate a CNC plasma cutting machine used in the manufacturing process.

This position works an early morning schedule and plays an important role in preparing materials and components for the next day’s production runs. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with welding or sheet metal fabrication is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate on our equipment and processes.

Qualifications
  • Previous welding or metal fabrication experience preferred
  • MIG welding experience highly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with dust, fiberglass, and adhesives
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance required
  • HVAC industry experience is a plus

Duties
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to understand fabrication requirements
  • Cut, shape, and prepare sheet metal using grinders, band saws, and plasma cutters
  • Assemble and weld ductwork components using MIG welding techniques
  • Train to operate and maintain a CNC plasma cutting machine
  • Assist with preparing materials and components for the following day’s production
  • Perform quality checks to ensure welds meet company standards
  • Work with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE
