Warehouse Associate – Springfield, MO – Join an Industry Leader

We are a leading distributor of water, sewer, storm drain, and fire protection products across the U.S., and we’re hiring a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team in Springfield, MO.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for accurately receiving and storing materials, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for pickup or delivery. You’ll also scan inventory, maintain a clean workspace, and follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications
  • 2 - 5 years Warehouse experience
  • Forklift experience preferred but willing to train
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Water works (piping materials) or underground materials exp preferred
  • Pre-employment drug test and background check will be required prior to starting

Duties
  • Pick, pack, and ship materials
  • Load and unload truck orders
  • Maintain accurate inventory in proper warehouse racking and storage areas
  • Report all loss and damage to inventory; minimize loss and damage
  • Maintain warehouse interior and exterior in a clean, safe and orderly condition
  • Attends product knowledge meetings as required by management.
  • Receive and fill orders or sell supplies, materials, and products to customers.
  • Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of goods.
  • Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials, such as lumber, boards, or pallets
  • Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
  • Verify physical inventory and assist with cycle counts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
