Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM

Job Requirements

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Basic tool set (must meet minimum tool requirement)
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in gas or diesel mechanical repair
  • Ability to perform oil changes, brake and tire work, and other preventive maintenance
  • Must be able to pass a Drug Test, DOT Physical, Road Test, and Background/MVR check (including 3-year drug/alcohol verification from previous employers)

Preferred:

  • Vocational or technical certification (post-secondary or ASE)
  • Two (2) or more years of combined classroom training and work experience
  • Valid CDL Class A license (preferred) — or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability

Location

Duties
  • Perform vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel and gas engines
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance — oil changes, brake work, tire service, etc.
  • Diagnose standard mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools
  • Identify root causes of mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs
  • Replace defective parts and components as instructed
  • Maintain accurate electronic service documentation using the Shop Management System
  • Interact with customers and drivers to determine service needs and solutions
  • Perform facility maintenance and other operational support duties
  • Follow all federal, state, and company compliance and safety standards (DOT, MOT, OSHA)
