  • Monday-Friday (Occasional Weekends) 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM


  • $20-$25/Hourly Wages (Experience Based Pay) - Including Weekly Pay

Job Summary:

  • We are currently seeking a Quality Control/Safety Technician for our plant. This position reports to the Plant Manager and ensures safety, quality control testing, and other administrative duties. Essential Functions:

  • Record and maintain safety information in the Basic Safe program to meet company standards.
  • Attend safety meetings and follow all safety rules the company and regulatory agencies set.
  • Performed and recorded Environmental Health and Safety & Quality Control inspections.
  • Order parts, materials, and supplies needed to maintain the plant's safety initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements.
  • Keep accurate safety record-keeping and documentation.
  • Investigate and report accidents and injuries appropriately.
  • Test incoming raw materials to ensure they meet quality requirements for manufacturing.
  • Conduct compressive strength testing, absorption, and density testing for Drycast concrete.
  • Conduct wet-cast concrete cylinder testing.
  • Train new production employees in quality-related standard operating procedures and conduct annual quality training.
  • Test products returned as part of any customer complaint to confirm compliance/non-compliance and identify any sub-standard procedures or processes involved.
  • Assisted with production reporting data entry and investigated issues as needed.
  • Perform any additional responsibilities assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and achieve results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to operate a personal computer, printer, calculator, copier, facsimile machine, and other office equipment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a drug screen, criminal background, and reference checks

Environmental Conditions:

  • Office environment with moderate noise and dust.
  • Plant environment with moderate to loud noise, exposure to dust, and moving machinery.
  • Employees must always wear mandatory and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Pre-employment drug tests and background checks are required.

    IIPP - Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)

    The Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) is a basic written workplace safety program. Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations (T8CCR) section 3203, requires every employer to develop and implement an effective IIPP.     The Policy of the company is to maintain a drug and alcohol free work enviroment that is safe and productive for our employees and others having business with our Company. To meet these objectives, the following policy has been adapted.

    "The unlawful use, possession, purchase, sale, distribution or being under the influence of any illegal drug and/or the misuse of legal drugs while on Company or Client premises or while performing services for our Company or Client is strictly prohibited. The Company also prohibits reporting to work or performing services while impaired by the use of alcohol or consuming alcohol while on duty.

    In order to ensure compliance with this policy, substance abuse screening may be conducted in the following situations:

    Pre-Employment: As may be required / requested by our Company or Clients.
    For Cause: Upon reasonable cause to believe that a substance abuse problem exists, testing may be conducted.
    Random: Unannounced random selection of employees may be performed.
    Post Accident: Any employee involved in an accident/injury while performing services for our Company or Client that results in property damage or bodily injury requiring medical treatment will be required to submit to a substance abuse screening.

    Compliance with this policy is a condition of employment. Employees who test positive or who refuse to submit to a substance abuse screening will be subject to termination. Notwithstanding any provision herein, this policy will be enforced at all times in accordance with applicable State Laws.
