Seeking warehouse and driver associate for our Long Beach warehouse!
We have an immediate opening for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Warehouse & Driver Associate in Long Beach, CA. This is a key role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is well-organized, and able to effectively multi-task while meeting the demands of daily operations. As a Warehouse & Driver Associate, you will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks, including managing warehouse duties such as inventory control, order fulfillment, and preparing shipments. You will also be expected to operate company vehicles to safely transport goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries.
The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lift and move heavy materials are essential for success in this position.
This is an hourly, non-exempt, at-will position, offering immediate start availability. Essential Duties
- Load and unload trucks, inspect products for defects and damages
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
- Ensuring accurate shipping and receiving of packages including reconciling packing slips and invoices
- Inventory control and quality control
- Operate forklift and various motor vehicles
- Deliver parts and equipment to customers
- Create and maintain P.O.s, ensure completed paperwork is submitted and entered into databases accurately
- Able to work with internal departments to resolve customer concerns
- Maintain safe and clean work environment complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
