Hiring Dispatcher/Customer Service Rep. -$24/HR
We are seeking a qualified candidate with prior experience in Ready Mix dispatching to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including customer service, dispatch duties, and ensuring smooth communication between drivers, customers, and management. This position involves answering incoming calls, radio dispatching, greeting visitors professionally, processing orders, performing data entry, tracking trucks, and providing directions to drivers with limited supervision. Our goal is to achieve complete customer satisfaction through efficient and effective service. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, a self-motivated and team-oriented mindset, and the ability to stay calm and courteous when handling stressful customer relations situations. Additionally, the office clerk/dispatcher must be able to interact well with both staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday (Some Saturdays)
- Start Times between 6am - 8am
key Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer multi-line telephone, take messages, and relay telephone calls
- Maintains files in an organized and accessible manner to include updating information, purging files on a regular basis and creating new filing systems as needed.
- Prepares a daily delivery schedule and coordinates efficient deliveries by applying knowledge of customer schedules, peak delivery times and alternate routes.
- Understands, interprets and ensures adherence to applicable DOT regulations.
- Operates the dispatch board according to procedures.
- Assist with handling dispatch phones to assist with customers and drivers
- Respond to customer complaints and inquires
- Data Entry
- Performs other related duties as assigned
