Job Description
Seeking a qualified candidate to perform customer service and dispatcher duties. This position is responsible for handling incoming telephone calls, radio dispatching, coordinating driver schedules, tracking trucks in real time, and directing drivers with limited supervision. The dispatcher will ensure efficient communication between drivers, customers, and management to maintain smooth operations.
Additional responsibilities include greeting visitors professionally, processing orders, data entry, and maintaining accurate dispatch records.

The office clerk/dispatcher must be a self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to remain professional and composed in high-pressure situations. Effective communication with management, staff, and drivers is essential for success in this role.

Schedule
- Monday - Friday (every other Saturday)
- 6am - 3pm
key Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer multi-line telephone, take messages, and relay telephone calls
- Maintains files in an organized and accessible manner to include updating information, purging files on a regular basis and creating new filing systems as needed.
- Prepares a daily delivery schedule and coordinates efficient deliveries by applying knowledge of customer schedules, peak delivery times and alternate routes.
- Understands, interprets and ensures adherence to applicable DOT regulations.
- Operates the dispatch board according to procedures.
- Assist with handling dispatch phones to assist with customers and drivers
- Respond to customer complaints and inquires
