A local, growing company in Portland, OR is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to perform preventative and routine maintenance on off-highway and on-highway fleet equipment. Candidates should have a strong understanding of electrical systems, engines, and all major components.
We’re hiring full-time, long-term Diesel Maintenance & Repair Technicians ready to join a reliable, supportive team environment.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Technical/vocational certification, preferred
- Basic tools required (must meet minimum tool requirements)
- 1–4+ years of diesel mechanic or heavy equipment experience, preferred
- Advanced repair skills a plus (engine rebuilds, after-treatment, fuel injection)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Clean driving record
- Ability to road test vehicles
- Class A CDL, preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
