Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll assist customers by phone and in person at our facility, helping them get the needed parts and interacting extensively with them to clarify their needs, research, and recommend pieces. You'll also be responsible for meeting or exceeding monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction, providing quotes, taking orders, providing post-order service, and physically measuring specs on various parts.

Requirements

To qualify for Customer Service Representative, you'll need at least one year of proven inside sales or customer service experience, with a preference for experience in an industrial distribution or parts counter environment. You'll also need mechanical and mathematical aptitude, strong written and verbal communication skills (including English grammar), the ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly, excellent multitasking, problem-solving, accuracy, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency. Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, a high school diploma or equivalent, and SAP/ERP experience are also preferred. Knowledge of industrial distribution products and hydraulics is a big plus.
