Customer Service & Sales Representative – Fontana, CA

We’re offering an exciting opportunity with a global industrial distribution company where your role goes beyond answering phones and taking orders. As a Customer Service & Sales Representative (CSSR), you’ll be the key point of contact for customers—helping them find the right parts, solve problems, and ensure their needs are met efficiently and professionally.

Schedule & Pay
  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:30AM-4:30PM
  • Pay: $20-$22/HR
Responsibilities
  • Assist customers by phone and in person at our facility
  • Help customers get the parts they need
  • Interact extensively with customers to clarify their needs, research, and recommend parts
  • Meet / exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction
  • Provide quotes
  • Take orders
  • Provide post order service
  • Physically measure specs on a wide variety of parts
Location

Fontana, California, United States

Requirements
  • 1+ yr proven inside sales or customer service experience. Industrial distribution or parts counter environment a plus
  • Mechanical and mathematical aptitude
  • Written & verbal communication skills, including English grammar
  • Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Multi-tasking, problem solving, accuracy, attention to detail, sense of urgency, sense of humor
  • Strong computer skills, particularly Excel
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • SAP / ERP (Computer software) experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of industrial distribution products and hydraulics, preferred
