HIRING CLASS E DELIVERY DRIVER!!

We're seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to help deliver sprinkler and irrigation supplies to customers across the Quad Cities. You'll handle pickups, verify materials, assist with warehouse duties, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

This role includes helping in the warehouse before or after your route. Our Prescott location features a showroom with displays like outdoor kitchens, turf, pavers, lighting, fire pits, and more. Join a team that's proud to support our local landscaping community!

Schedule
  • Mon-Fri;
  • 7AM – 4:30 PM
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Make deliveries about 75% of the time using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.
  • Assist in the warehouse roughly 25% of the time
  • Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured.
  • Collect payments and accurately document delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.
  • Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.
  • Assist with housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe and secure sales center.
  • Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • A valid driver's license and ability to operate up to a 26000GVW straight stake bed truck. (Class E)
  • Clean MVR (Driving record)
  • Ability to frequently lift and move items that weigh up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
  • Aptitude to learn ever-evolving computer systems, programs, handheld technology and processes.
  • Ability to observe surroundings for information and recognize potential problems.
  • Maintains composure in a fast-paced environment focused on serving business owners with urgent needs.
  • A cooperative, dependable team player.
  • Strong customer service attitude.
  • Keen awareness of how actions behind-the-scenes can impact customer service.
  • Good communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Follows and carries out instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Possess or obtain forklift certification.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Pre-employment drug test and background check will be required prior to starting
