Local Delivery Driver – Home Daily | Flatbed/Stake Bed
Behind the wheel in the AM, and home in time for dinner. We’re looking for a reliable Local Delivery Driver to join the world’s largest wholesale distributor of swimming pool supplies, equipment, and related leisure products.
In this role, you'll make scheduled deliveries to customer job sites, following all DOT regulations and company safety procedures. You'll load inventory onto the truck, ensure accurate delivery, and unload products at the destination.
Your day may also include complex pickups and deliveries from suppliers and other facilities. If you’re dependable, safety-focused, and ready to represent a trusted brand on the road each day—this is the job for you!
Schedule
- Monday- Friday (Some Saturdays if needed for a few hours)
- 7AM- 5PM
- Home Daily
Responsibilities and Duties
- Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.
- Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.
- Collect payments and accurately document delivery.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.
- Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
