In this role, you’ll oversee parts ordering, receiving, inventory, and reconciliation for a single shop location. You’ll ensure the right part is purchased from the right vendor at the right time, helping to maximize customer uptime. You’ll also process purchase orders and vendor payment requests.   • Days: Monday–Friday
  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Location: Shop in Springfield, OR 97478
  • Pay: $25.00 per hour
  • Paid weekly
Responsibilities
  • Execute parts inventory management processes, including:

     

  • Conducting physical inventory
  • Parts ordering and receiving
  • Coordinating parts pickup and delivery
  • Stocking and organizing inventory
  • Process invoices and purchase orders (POs)
  • Maintain records, statistics, and min–max levels for inventory control
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory counts
  • Manage parts obsolescence
  • Ship warranty items and parts returns to vendors
  • Maintain parts room organization and cleanliness
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years in inventory and parts administration/clerical functions preferred
  • Strong computer skills (spreadsheets and word processing) – advanced level required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and excellent follow-up practices
  • Ability to keep accurate, up-to-date records, logs, and data
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with others
