In this position, you’ll support shop management through customer communication, scheduling, inventory coordination, and administrative support. You’ll gain proven industry knowledge and resources to develop your operations and fleet maintenance background. We promote from within based on performance, with the ideal progression path leading to an Operations Supervisor role. Experience in the automotive or heavy-duty truck industry is a plus.

  • Pay: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service

    Improve quality and consistency of customer communications
    Serve as customer interface for issue resolution and satisfaction
    Execute customer communication protocols for PM scheduling, breakdowns, and vehicle status updates
    Drive improvement of Customer Satisfaction (CSI) scores

  • Workflow Management

    Enhance branch productivity through effective scheduling and planning
    Create repair order tasks and update work planning sheets
    Review maintenance reports and schedule preventative maintenance and follow-ups
    Coordinate with rental counters, vendors, and customers for repairs and substitute units
    Support management by freeing time to focus on shop operations

  • Parts Management

    Manage inventory planning, warranty execution, and cost containment
    Conduct physical inventory and manage parts ordering, receiving, stocking, and invoicing
    Coordinate parts pickup and delivery
    Recommend min-max inventory levels
    Manage parts obsolescence and warranty returns
    Maintain parts room organization and cleanliness

  • Administrative

    Handle incoming shop calls
    Maintain vehicle maintenance files
    Process accounts payable
    Create repair orders for technicians

  • Additional Responsibilities
    Support cost containment and productivity initiatives
    Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • 1+ year customer service or comparable issue-resolution experience
  • Advanced computer skills, including spreadsheets and word processing software
