$34/hr | Monday–Friday | Overnight / Early AM Starts

We are hiring experienced Class A Drivers with Tanker & Doubles endorsements for a local driving position based in Seattle. This role offers competitive hourly pay, consistent weekday work, and primarily local routes with minimal overnight travel.

Drivers will operate assigned vehicles on designated routes while maintaining full compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations. This position requires strong safety awareness, reliability, and the ability to handle early-morning start times.

Schedule & Pay:
  • Monday – Friday
  • 12:00 AM and 4:00 AM start times
  • Roughly 10-hour shifts
  • Local travel with less than 5% overnight travel
  • Pay: $34.00 per hour
Responsibilities
  • Inspect vehicle to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in proper working order
  • Collect and verify delivery instructions and routes
  • Drive assigned vehicle on designated routes
  • Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage
  • Maintain logs of hours worked, vehicle service, and repair status per state and federal regulations
  • Record weight/volume, mileage, time, and fuel consumption
  • Operate GPS, radio, and phone equipment to communicate with supervisors
  • Plan and adjust routes based on traffic, weather, or construction to maximize fuel efficiency
  • Load and unload trucks using specialized equipment as required
  • Interact with others in a professional and ethical manner
  • Follow department and company procedures
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL with Tanker & Doubles endorsements
  • Current DOT medical card
  • 21 years of age or older
  • 2 years of commercial driving experience with acceptable MVR
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read and speak English as required by Federal Motor Carrier regulations
  • Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations
  • Understanding of transportation and road safety principles
  • Ability to operate, control, and monitor vehicle and equipment safely
  • Willingness to work overtime and alternate schedules/routes as needed
  • Pre-employment drug test and background check required
