Looking for a stable local driving job in Columbus, OH that gets you home every day? We are hiring Class A or B CDL Drivers with Hazmat to join a leading national distributor of swimming pool supplies, equipment, and outdoor leisure products. In this role, you will deliver materials to customer job sites while maintaining strict safety and DOT compliance standards.
This is a hands on delivery position where drivers assist with loading and unloading materials, operate equipment when needed, and provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Schedule & Pay:
- $25.00/HR
- Overtime available
- Performance bonuses available
- Paid Weekly
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM Start Time
- Some Saturdays as needed (short shifts)
- Home Daily
Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customer job sites using the most efficient routes
- Load and unload materials safely and secure cargo properly
- Ensure hazardous materials are separated and handled correctly
- Collect payments and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Follow all DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Complete pre trip and post trip inspections
- Report any maintenance issues to supervisors
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle
- Continue developing product and job knowledge
- Perform additional warehouse or yard duties as needed
Qualifications
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL
- Hazmat Endorsement Required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Clean MVR and PSP with no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift and maneuver materials up to 100 lbs
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Must pass background check and pre employment drug screen
⭐ Preferred Experience
- 1–2 years of commercial driving experience
- Flatbed or Stake Bed experience preferred
- Forklift experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Moffett, Skelly, or Air Brakes is a plus
- Comfortable assisting with warehouse work and yard duties when needed
