Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to deliver sprinkler and irrigation supplies to our valued customers and facilities. This role involves picking up and delivering orders, verifying materials before departure, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. You will also be responsible for shipping and receiving materials and maintaining accurate inventory and stock areas.

When not on delivery routes, the Driver will assist with general warehouse operations. These duties may include organizing stock, restocking shelves, and supporting the team to ensure smooth daily operations. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are key to success in this role.

Our Prescott location proudly serves the Quad Cities area with top-quality landscape and irrigation products. Our showroom and design center features a wide variety of outdoor solutions, including an outdoor kitchen display, pavers, artificial turf, lighting, water features, fire pits, and more.

Requirements
  • A valid driver's license and ability to operate up to a 26000GVW straight stake bed truck. (Class C)
  • Clean MVR (Driving record)
  • Ability to frequently lift and move items that weigh up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
  • Aptitude to learn ever-evolving computer systems, programs, handheld technology and processes.
  • Ability to observe surroundings for information and recognize potential problems.
  • Maintains composure in a fast-paced environment focused on serving business owners with urgent needs.
  • A cooperative, dependable team player.
  • Strong customer service attitude.
  • Keen awareness of how actions behind-the-scenes can impact customer service.
  • Good communication and record-keeping skills.

    EMPLOYEE SUBSTANCE ABUSE POLICY

    The Policy of the company is to maintain a drug and alcohol free work enviroment that is safe and productive for our employees and others having business with our Company. To meet these objectives, the following policy has been adapted.

    "The unlawful use, possession, purchase, sale, distribution or being under the influence of any illegal drug and/or the misuse of legal drugs while on Company or Client premises or while performing services for our Company or Client is strictly prohibited. The Company also prohibits reporting to work or performing services while impaired by the use of alcohol or consuming alcohol while on duty.

    In order to ensure compliance with this policy, substance abuse screening may be conducted in the following situations:

    Pre-Employment: As may be required / requested by our Company or Clients.
    For Cause: Upon reasonable cause to believe that a substance abuse problem exists, testing may be conducted.
    Random: Unannounced random selection of employees may be performed.
    Post Accident: Any employee involved in an accident/injury while performing services for our Company or Client that results in property damage or bodily injury requiring medical treatment will be required to submit to a substance abuse screening.

    Compliance with this policy is a condition of employment. Employees who test positive or who refuse to submit to a substance abuse screening will be subject to termination. Notwithstanding any provision herein, this policy will be enforced at all times in accordance with applicable State Laws.
