Elite HR Logistics is hiring experienced and safety-focused CDL A Local Route Drivers in Elizabeth, NJ! Looking for a local driving opportunity offering $30–$39 per hour, daily overtime, and home daily? This could be the opportunity for you!
We are looking for dependable drivers who can safely operate vacuum and roll-off trucks, transport hazardous and nonhazardous materials, and assist with on-site environmental services when needed. If you have experience operating heavy equipment and take pride in safety and reliability, we want to hear from you!
Schedule
- Overtime: Daily OT!
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | Occasional Saturdays
- Home Daily!
Routes
- Emergency standby calls, including possible nights and weekends.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Safely drive and operate vacuum and roll-off trucks.
- Transport hazardous and nonhazardous materials in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Complete required HazMat and nonhazardous waste manifests and transportation paperwork.
- Maintain DOT records, ELD logs, and required vehicle documentation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report equipment concerns.
- Assist with on-site environmental cleanup and industrial service operations as needed.
- Respond to emergency calls while assigned standby duty.
- Follow company safety procedures and applicable DOT regulations.
