Responsibilities and Duties
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer
- Transport freight between local Reno and Sparks terminals
- Complete dock-to-dock deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and inspection paperwork
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
- Report equipment issues, accidents, or safety concerns promptly
- Communicate professionally with terminal personnel and customers
- Install tire chains when required during winter weather
