Essential Duties
As a Field Service Pump Mechanic, you'll help keep customer operations running by inspecting, repairing, testing, and rebuilding a variety of industrial equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform maintenance, repairs, testing, and rebuilds on pumps, motors, valves, small engines, and related equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs accurately and efficiently
- Travel to customer job sites to perform field service work
- Complete repairs both in the shop and in the field
- Research repair procedures and equipment specifications before beginning work
- Complete service documentation and repair records accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Identify and report safety concerns
- Perform additional duties as assigned
