Responsibilities and Duties
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on assigned delivery routes
- Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Deliver products to customer locations using a dolly or hand truck
- Lift gates available for dock-to-dock deliveries
- Verify orders and reconcile invoices and receipts as needed
- Collect payments from customers when applicable
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries
- Return empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
